Calling all Christmas decorators! Do you have any old Christmas things up in the attic that you don’t plan on using this year? Please loan them to us for the season! Bring them on Monday night, or call Linda Bleeke at 609-618-1311. Help us make the museum festive and fun.
November’s Mini Program: This month, in honor of Thanksgiving dinners everywhere, Linda Bleeke, a retired Home Economics teacher, will give a brief talk about cooking different foods through the ages.
Executive Board: There will be an Executive Board meeting in November. See you at 7:00pm!
Sunday, December 8, 2024, 2-4pm–Holiday Open House at the Little Red Schoolhouse Museum. Celebrate the Christmas/Hannukah season with Waretown Historical Society! All ages are welcome. Refreshments will be served. Invite your friends, or anyone who is curious about our museum! The open house will be a great time to check out exhibits, chat with fellow history lovers, and enjoy the keyboard music of Arnie Abrams. Santa Claus will join us from 2-3:30pm, for pictures in our Victorian parlor. This event is free, and no advance sign-up is required.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Holiday Open House, our monthly museum opening and regular December meetings are both canceled.
Minutes: Don't forget to check out the minutes of our previous meeting, posted on our website, waretownhistoricalsociety.org . You will find them under the “minutes” tab at the top of the home page. Read them now, so you’ll be ready for Monday’s meeting!
