Mark your calendars for our upcoming events:
Monday, March 16, 2026, 7:30pm--Regular meeting of the Waretown Historical Society, Little Red Schoolhouse Museum. Join us as we continue setting up the many exciting events surrounding the 250thAnniversary of the USA, and the 150th Anniversary of our Wonderful Waretown.
Mini-Program: There will be no mini-program this month, as our agenda is full—busily preparing for both the grand re-opening and the election of officers in April.
Executive Board: There will be an Executive Board meeting in March. Please come to the museum at 7:00pm!
Sunday, April 5, 2026, 2-4pm—Monthly Open House is CANCELED for Easter Sunday. Our Monthly First Sunday Open Houses will be back on schedule starting on May 3.
Sunday, April 12, 2026, 2-5pm—Waretown’s 150th Anniversary Kick-Off Concert at Albert Music Hall. Come join us in celebrating local history and culture.
Monday, April 13, 2006—Waretown’s official 150th Birthday Celebration, Little Red Schoolhouse Museum. This is also our Grand Re-Opening event. It’s two celebrations in one! Come join us for cake and tours.

📆Plan ahead: we will be having an election of officers for our executive board in April. If anyone is interested in serving as an officer—or on the nominating committee—please let Linda Bleeke know.

Your dues help keep our museum doors open, and donations are always welcome. A membership in Waretown Historical Society costs only $5 a year, or $10 for two years. Please contact Linda Bleeke at 609-618-1311, or email [email protected]
Minutes: The minutes of our last meeting will be updated over the weekend. Don't forget to check them out. They are posted on our website, Waretownhistoricalsociety.org. You will find them under the “minutes” tab at the top of the home page. Please read them before March’s meeting, so you’ll be ready to vote!
