Corresponding secretary – WHS received a thank you note from one of our scholarship recipients.  We also received a letter from Joan F, which we read out loud. After hearing this letter, Adele asked Jeanne B., a question concerning voting at the historical society and Jeanne's answer was no.  The precedent was clearly for the entire history of our organization, to allow every member to vote.  ( this type of election/vote has never happened in the history of this historical society.  Since it's beginning only two people have ever been President.  This is the first time there were two people running for President and the bylaws state that voting requires three meetings in the current year as determined by legal advice in April.
