Before the meeting started, Adele asked if anyone needs to be included in our prayers. Shirley Balance passed away. Mrs. Marge Sanborn, Carol Dunster, Jeff Geary and Linda Bleeke.

Treasurer's report - Motion to accept Joan F. seconded John Py.
Membership - no new members, one renew. 88 paid members plus Lifetime.
Correspondence - Thank you note to Gregg Rieck, Susan Makuka and Lora Stout (spinners)
Programs - the spinners, excellent program. Very well attended.
Aidan made an announcement about an event that was going to take place at the lake presented by First Responders as a fundraiser. He wondered if the museum could be opened during that time. We all agreed. Docents: Adele, June and Linda.
Old Business -
New signs - Bill F. made a backing for the signs and dug holes for the posts. Excellent job.
Electrician came and fixed two outside outlets. They donated their labor.
According to Tim Hart - the mini grants from last year are available again. More on that later.
Possible ideas:
a cover for the bell, which is now outside.
More signage explaining the schoolhouse building, etc.
Adele and her students made up more membership slips.
By- laws were handed out one more time. A motion to accept the by-laws was made by Joan F. and seconded by Ron T.. All in favor: AYE.
Elections: 2 yr. position.

October program with the town is still being discussed.
July 4th program with the town in the park:
Saturday, June 24, 2023, 10:00am—Township of Ocean’s 13th Annual Independence Day Celebration, Corliss Park Lake and Recreation Area. Adele has been asked to give a short speech that day on Revolutionary War events that occurred in and around Waretown. The Little Red Schoolhouse Museum will be open for tours after the program. Please come out and enjoy the event, then stay awhile to assist in greeting our many new visitors and friends.
Flag program is coming along. Two more businesses paid today. there are two new shelves for flags. The upper section is now empty.
If you get a chance, go look at the new sign at Cedar Grove Cemetery. made by Brian H. Waretown, made out of Cedar. It is beautiful.
An idea of putting electricity out to the shed was discussed. Possibly a better concept would be to try solar lights. A motion to spend $75 was made by John Py. and seconded by June M. All AYE.
Since this meeting went longer than expected, we postponed the mini program until next month.
